About This Role

We are currently looking for TWO established, independent individual contributors to join us as Investment Analyst. You will play crucial role in shaping our investment strategy and identifying high-potential startups within the crypto and blockchain space.You will assess investment opportunities, conduct in-depth due diligence, and present recommendations to the executive team. Your insights and expertise will directly impact our capital deployment decisions, contributing to the growth and success of the crypto exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of the crypto and blockchain market to identify potential investment opportunities and emerging trends.
• Source, evaluate, and screen startups and projects for investment consideration, with a focus on innovative technologies, strong teams, and growth potential.
• Perform comprehensive due diligence on target companies, assessing their financials, market position, technology, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical, legal, and financial data to support investment decision-making.
• Create detailed financial models, projections, and valuation analyses to assess the potential return on investment (ROI) of opportunities.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for the executive team, providing clear and concise insights into potential investment opportunities.
• Monitor and track the performance of existing investments and maintain up-to-date records of portfolio companies.
• Stay informed about the latest industry news, regulatory changes, and market developments to adjust investment strategies accordingly.
• Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, startups, and industry stakeholders to stay ahead of emerging investment opportunities.
• Assist in negotiating investment terms and collaborate with legal teams to finalize investment agreements.
• Support the management team in developing and executing the overall investment strategy and participate in investment committee meetings.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in venture capital, private equity, or similar investment roles, with a strong focus on startups and capital deployment opportunities within the crypto or fintech industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the crypto and blockchain market, including an understanding of various digital assets and their underlying technologies.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the ability to think critically about investment opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying investment insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and disruptive technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
