The Role

Electric Capital is looking for an Recruiting Coordinator/Internal Operations team member to play an integral part in our recruiting process, as well as to assist with day-to-day operations and leadership team support.

This individual will play a key role in the sourcing, screening, and scheduling of candidates for our open positions, as well as manage calendars and assisting with firm operations. This is an administrative role and requires a high attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Recruiting responsibilities include:

  • Driving the process to source candidates and developing robust, diverse talent pipelines.
  • Collaborating with internal hiring managers to understand position requirements.
  • Managing relationships with external recruiters when appropriate.
  • Schedule candidate interviews and manage candidates through the recruiting process, with exceptional attention to detail. Efficiently collect and track feedback from interviewers.
  • Efficiently manage and track candidates through the recruiting pipeline, while providing candidates with an exceptional experience from source to hire.
  • Provide follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email.

Operations responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple complex calendars and scheduling efficiently.
  • Organize, prioritize, and appropriately handle time-sensitive, confidential information and ensure action required is addressed in a timely manner.
  • Organize, execute, and assist with events (on-sites/off-sites, team social events, portfolio company events, conference events, etc.)
  • Schedule cost effective air/hotel/ground transportation. Create detailed travel itineraries both domestic and international (including smooth transitions between time zones).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of administrative or operations experience, preferably with at least 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition (experience with a startup or venture capital environment is a plus)
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to go above and beyond what is required, and to be very hands-on in doing whatever needs to be done to push toward outcomes
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholders and team members
  • Strong technical skills (cloud tools) and the ability to pick up new tools and software
