Data Labeler/Annotator

Responsibilities

• Process, organize, and label GitHub repositories in line with our established taxonomy.
• update our taxonomy accordingly as new verticals and trends emerge in the crypto space, in collaboration with taxonomists.
• Determine and document methods to fix errors in and improve our automated classifiers.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure the accuracy of previously labeled repositories.
• Identify and suggest areas for improvement in our infrastructure and taxonomy.
• Maintain data quality and integrity by following established guidelines and protocols.
• Research and understand new concepts, technologies, or verticals within the crypto space to accurately label and categorize repositories.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of crypto/web3, including various verticals and concepts such as Layer 1 blockchains, Layer 2 solutions, DeFi, NFTs, etc.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong data entry experience with an emphasis on speed and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in situations of ambiguity.
• Proficiency in using internal tools for updating and maintaining taxonomies (intermediate level).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in data labeling in a fast-paced environment.
• Logical and methodical approach to labeling tasks.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, taxonomy management, or a related role.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve data inconsistencies or conflicts.
