Proof of work
The Team
As Kraken prepares for the next phase of capital markets engagement, we’re hiring an Investor Relations Manager to help build and operationalize a best-in-class IR program.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can execute at a high level — crafting messaging, building materials, managing investor workflows, and driving engagement across institutional investors and analysts.
Reporting into VP, Investor Relations and working closely with Finance, Legal, and Communications, this person will help translate Kraken’s strategy and financial performance into a clear, credible, and compelling story for the market.
This is a “proof of work” role — less about building a large team, more about rolling up sleeves and delivering excellence across core IR disciplines.
The Opportunity
Support the development and execution of Kraken’s investor relations strategy aligned with growth objectives and public-market readiness.
Act as a key point of contact for the investment community, including institutional investors, analysts, and investment banks, in partnership with senior leadership.
Partner closely with the CFO and finance team to craft and deliver financial messaging, earnings materials, investor presentations, and analyst day content.
Lead preparation of core investor communications: quarterly earnings materials, annual reports, press releases, and disclosure documents in coordination with finance and legal teams.
Monitor market trends, peer performance, analyst models, investor sentiment, and shareholder base composition; synthesize insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
Build and maintain investor databases, targeting frameworks, engagement tracking systems, and analytics dashboards.
Support and help lead proactive investor outreach efforts including conferences, roadshows, non-deal roadshows, and one-on-one meetings.
Ensure consistency and accuracy of disclosures in alignment with SEC and stock-exchange requirements, partnering closely with legal and compliance.
Collaborate with communications, legal, and finance teams to maintain aligned, credible, and cohesive external messaging.
Provide structured reporting to leadership on investor engagement, market perception, and performance tracking.
Skills You Should HODL
7+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance, or capital markets, ideally supporting a publicly traded company or high-growth organization preparing to go public.
Strong understanding of equity capital markets, shareholder dynamics, analyst coverage, valuation drivers, and public-market mechanics.
Solid financial acumen with fluency in financial statements, KPIs, modeling fundamentals, and the ability to communicate complex metrics clearly and concisely.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience preparing investor-facing decks, earnings scripts, Q&A materials, and external communications.
Experience supporting investor communication plans and executing deliverables during periods of growth, transformation, or public-market transition.
Ability to build relationships with analysts, investors, and capital markets participants, or quickly establish credibility with them.
Professional presence and confidence supporting high-visibility forums such as earnings calls, investor conferences, and board reporting.
Working knowledge of regulatory disclosure requirements, SEC and stock-exchange standards, and IR best practices.
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills across finance, legal, communications, and external advisors.
Nice to haves
Prior experience supporting an IPO process, or transitioning a private company to the public markets.
