About You
You are looking for a senior role as a founding team member, with the potential to step into a co-founder position, should the fit be right. You have experience in early-stage startups and a deep knowledge of the DeFi landscape to join our team.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a founder or key team member in a crypto startup, with expertise in crypto-economic models and experience interfacing with engineering & design teams.
2+ years startup experience as a senior member / lead of product or engineering teams to build products from the ground up along with proven track record of timely execution.
Outstanding communication and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Demonstrated success in implementing Go-To-Market and growth strategies, backed by strong proficiency in interpreting crypto market data and user behavior.
Established record of developing strong networks and partnerships within the DeFi and broader crypto ecosystem. This includes awareness of the latest DeFi applications/trends and involvement in two or more communities.
Ability to operate independently with limited guidance, making non-conventional decisions.
Nice to have
Technical understanding of EVM, crypto networks, and the latest developments in blockchain technologies.
Demonstrated ability to leverage social platforms and other marketing tools to drive brand awareness and community engagement.
Familiarity with legal and regulatory guidelines, international company structuring, and DAO formation.
Prior participation and contributions to governance in DeFi and crypto networks.
Previous experience in traditional finance such as hedge funds, brokerage, or trading, with an understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and interest rates.
Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the founder to plan and implement Product, Go-To-Market, and growth strategies.
Foster a fast-moving, innovative team environment. Collaborate effectively with the product team, Kresko community, and external partners to drive and successfully achieve business goals.
Evangelize Kresko and contribute to thought leadership in the DeFi space through active engagement in industry conferences, Twitter spaces, social media, and other forums.
Drive community initiatives aimed at building a loyal and engaged user base, while continually conducting user research to align strategies with user needs.
Forge strategic partnerships to promote ecosystem development and further expand Kresko's influence in the DeFi sector.
Guide the business team by providing growth opportunities, career development, and mentorship, nurturing their skills and fostering a positive work culture.
Please note, we work in a highly evolving (and must we say exhilarating) Web3 startup environment. We expect contributors to take ownership of tasks and have the ability work without much oversight.
