Job Description

This role is based in Bangalore.

As a Principal Product Manager for Horizontal Content Protection, you will help achieve this mission by ensuring members are able to share information with their community in a safe and trusted manner. You will play a critical role in leading and fostering collaboration with various cross-functional teams including other Product Managers, AI, engineering, data science, legal, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally to develop a comprehensive vision, strategy, and roadmaps for ensuring the safety of information that members share on LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate across product teams to ensure scalable high quality solutions
  • Drive global product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancements.
  • Clearly communicate member needs, opportunities, risks, and more with cross functional teams and executive leadership.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • BS/BA Degree in a technology related field OR equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or equivalent role


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in a technology-related field (especially AI/ML)
  • Experience working in the trust and safety domain
  • Experience building web products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development, and launch
  • Strong understanding of the most recent trends around consumer web usage and technologies including experience with social media and generative AI
  • Experience driving initiatives that span multiple product teams and organizations
  • Excellent communication skills (including with executives) and ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage and lead across highly cross-functional teams
