We’re looking for an experienced EVM Protocol Engineer with a deep passion for revolutionizing digital ownership. The core of the work revolves around EVM, off-chain and multi-chain interaction, scaling, encryption, APIs, and usability. As part of our team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to leverage your hands-on expertise to help set the tone and essential guidelines for our ecosystem.


What a typical day may look like:

  • Research, design and implementation of existing and new EVM products

  • Contribute to Solidity development for Magic Eden’s Wallet

  • Contribute to blockchain indexing systems with a focus on high performance and throughput

  • Work closely with company’s founders, designers, engineers and security auditors to ensure the systems are of high quality and delivered to the market in a timely manner.

What you bring:

  • 6 years experience, at least 2 of those years with Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains, smart-contract development with Solidity, Foundry, Web3.js / Ethers.js frameworks JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Experience with Ethereum Development Suites (e.g. Foundry, Truffle, Ganache, Hardhat, Tenderly)

  • Experience in writing secure, efficient, and gas-optimized smart contracts for decentralized applications (DApps) on the Ethereum blockchain and other EVM-compatible networks.

  • Experienced with various technologies, self-motivated, a fast learner, and have a "get things done" mentality

  • Familiarity with open-source contribution practices and a proven track record of contributing to open-source Solidity projects.

  • Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities

An active and engaging open-source presence not only demonstrates your technical prowess but also your ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and contribute to the broader developer community.

  • Maintain an active and engaging presence on GitHub or other open-source platforms, showcasing your contributions, collaborations, and thought leadership within the Solidity and Ethereum communities.

  • Consistently contribute to popular open-source Solidity projects, libraries, and tools, demonstrating your expertise and commitment to the ecosystem.

  • Actively participate in discussions, propose improvements, and provide insightful feedback on issues, pull requests, and project roadmaps.

  • Lead or participate in the development of open-source Solidity tools, frameworks, or libraries that address common challenges or improve developer productivity.

  • Engage in knowledge sharing by writing technical blog posts, creating tutorials, or giving presentations at meetups, conferences, or online forums, further solidifying your reputation as a subject matter expert.

  • Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment within the open-source community.
