As Growth Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Membrane’s footprint, driving engagement with institutional clients, and translating market needs into actionable strategy and product initiatives. You’ll help position Membrane as the connective tissue of institutional credit in crypto, while ensuring our solutions evolve in step with the market.
We’re seeking a highly motivated individual with a demonstrated passion for financial markets and digital assets - someone who is truly motivated to build something differentiated. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, comfortable with ambiguity, and energized by the opportunity to help redefine how institutions interact with credit and collateral in the rapidly growing and maturing digital asset space.
Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to expand Membrane’s institutional footprint, driving client engagement and adoption across digital asset credit markets. Identify and prioritize initiatives that directly contribute to revenue growth and market presence.
- Market Development: Monitor market trends, client needs, and competitor activity in digital assets and institutional credit. Translate insights into actionable growth opportunities, ensuring Membrane stays ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
- Client Engagement & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level institutional clients and strategic partners. Act as a trusted, independent counterpart in discussions, helping to identify new opportunities and expand Membrane’s role in the ecosystem.
- Network Building: Engage with your professional network and actively develop new relationships across the digital asset and financial markets community. Be comfortable participating in conferences and positioning yourself as a thought leader.
- User Acquisition: Lead efforts to bring new institutions onto the platform through targeted outreach, partnerships, events, and referrals. Develop scalable playbooks to optimize acquisition and retention.
- Product Collaboration: Capture and communicate market and client feedback to internal teams. Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and design to ensure new features and enhancements align with real market demand
- Data-Driven Growth: Use data and analytics to evaluate performance of growth initiatives, refine acquisition strategies, and identify opportunities for expansion. Track key KPIs to measure impact and adapt approaches accordingly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams - including sales, marketing, engineering, and product - to align growth initiatives with overall company objectives and ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- New York based, or willing to relocate to New York for the position.
- Proven experience in business development, strategy, consulting, or product-related roles within financial services and/or crypto
- Strong understanding of financial markets and transactions, including loans and broader credit markets; experience with digital asset markets and blockchain technology is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated track record of driving user acquisition, client engagement, or growth initiatives for financial or digital products.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that inform strategy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage institutional clients and develop professional networks across the digital asset ecosystem.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring market insights translate into business impact.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, true start-up environment, with the autonomy to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
