The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

The Role

The Monad Foundation is looking for someone to lead the Traditional Markets vertical. This person will lead the effort to increase adoption of Monad technology and to increase financial activity on chain. This person will lead meaningful projects that involve collaboration between financial institutions and other Monad Ecosystem participants. The ideal candidate is someone with deep experience and intuition for both traditional markets and crypto, who can identify where and how web3 technologies can greatly improve and / or displace existing systems.

You will own and execute on the team’s strategy and vision for the traditional markets vertical. This includes cultivating key, executive-level relationships with major financial institutions, educating others through writing and speaking opportunities, and sculpting the Monad ecosystem through a financial lens. Your work will be instrumental in creating synergy between traditional finance and crypto rails.

What You Will Do

  • You will lead efforts in bridging traditional financial markets with blockchain technology.

  • You will attend and represent Monad at industry conferences, panels, and networking events

  • You will approach new opportunities with a product-oriented mindset, finding areas of win-win between customer needs and blockchain capabilities

  • You will contribute to Monad’s presence and thought leadership in the space

  • You will grow adoption of real world assets and tokenization efforts in web3

Who You Are

  • You have no less than 8-10 years of professional work experience, with significant experience in traditional finance or related industries.

  • You have prior professional experience in web3.

  • You are collaborative and solutions-oriented, organized and detail-oriented.

  • You are a strong communicator—both in writing and verbally—and you can cater to a broad range of audiences (technical/non-technical and crypto-native/non-crypto) both internal and external to the team.

  • You are analytical and deeply curious with a firm understanding of how traditional financial markets work and where there are opportunities for blockchain technology to offer improvements.

  • You have cultivated an extensive relevant professional network, notably with organizations that have interest in integrating blockchain technology.

Nice to Haves

  • You have professional experience in RWAs (e.g. tokenized funds, money markets, etc.) and/or supporting infrastructure

  • You hold a degree in a technical field, or have technical work experience
