The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000- $192,500. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level, but not location (within the US). The salary range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We are seeking a self starter with dynamic DeFi experience and markets understanding to play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing native Sui protocols (e.g., DeepBook). You'll not only contribute to our product development but also shepherd the growth of the larger ecosystem, collaborating with the engineering organization. The team focuses on experimentation and iteration speed. Try things, collect data, make conclusions, then steer the ship as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable DeFi protocols.

• Conduct market research to propose new projects.

• Build smart contracts, deploy, and setup backend systems to collect data and monitor performance.

• Active use of AI: we use Claude and other AI tools.

• Must know what’s the latest on CT. Must know what the latest developments are in the other ecosystems, who’s working on what.

Qualifications:

• Experience writing smart contracts.

• Experience with HFT/MM.

• Understands how markets work, how flows work.

• Actively engaged in DeFi trading and following DeFi trends/ news.
