The Role
We’re seeking a VP of Growth (L5) to design, lead, and scale our entire growth engine. This isn’t a campaign manager role, you’ll be the architect and driver of growth strategy, building the systems, data models, and playbooks that take Onboard from thousands to hundreds of thousands of users.
At this stage, we don’t need polish, we need scrappy execution at scale: someone who is data-first, relentless about accountability, and proven in building momentum from 0→1. You’ll coach a team of growth operators, enforce discipline across acquisition, activation, and retention, and own the numbers.
What You’ll Do
- Own Onboard’s growth strategy end-to-end, aligning acquisition, activation, and community around clear north star metrics.
- Build and maintain a quantitative growth model (CAC, LTV, funnels, budget allocation) that drives weekly decisions.
- Manage, coach, and level up growth team, ensuring pods are deeply accountable, data-prepared, and execution-focused.
- Build scalable multi-channel growth playbooks, including paid, influencer, content, SEO/LLM/ASO, and partnerships.
- Partner with Product to align features with growth levers, optimize funnels, and remove activation friction.
- Translate high-level targets into clear goals, ownership, and metrics for each pod.
- Report progress, insights, and recommendations directly to leadership and investors.
What You’ll Bring
- 7–10 years of experience in growth, with proven success in fintech, neobanking, or consumer apps.
- Strong data and analytical skills - SQL, spreadsheets, and comfort turning data into models, forecasts, and decisions.
- Track record of taking products from 0→1 or early scale, not just running playbooks in post-PMF environments.
- Experience managing and leveling up team mates; you know how to hold pods accountable.
- Multi-channel expertise across paid, influencer/creator marketing, partnerships, SEO/content, and ASO.
- Highly structured and process-oriented, with a strong operator mindset.
- Passion for financial access, remote work, and the onchain economy
